Qualification: B. Tech / B.E. & Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (Must Have)
Experience in Years: 5-7
Job Description of Position Incumbent
Safety Compliance & Zero Harm: Achieve zero LWC, zero fatality and reduction in LTIFR. Conduct SO rounds, FPSA, TPSA regularly. Ensure 100% OHS field rounds and closure of findings.
Environmental Compliance: Monitor and control plant emissions (air, water, noise). Ensure timely renewal of SPCB/MoEF consents & authorizations. Conduct AAA, stack emission & water quality sampling/testing.
Tools, Tackles & Equipment Safety: Ensure 100% testing/certification of lifting tools/tackles and pressure vessels. Maintain ERP compliance for safety equipment. Implement SOPs.
System Implementation: Implement ISO / EMS / OHSAS / WCM / DuPont systems. Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of NCRs. Maintain documentation as per ISO & EMS requirements.
Liaison & Government Coordination: Liaise with SPCB, MoEF, IBM, CPCB and external agencies. Facilitate inspections, testing & compliance audits. Ensure timely submission of environmental returns.
Training, Awareness & Culture Building: Ensure 100% training coverage for Safety & Environment modules. Conduct awareness campaigns, monthly themes, TBTs & workshops.
Implementation of Best Practices & Continuous Improvement: Identify unsafe conditions, leakages, spillages & improvement opportunities. Drive Kaizens in Safety & Environment. Implement UTL & industry best practices at Patratu.
