What you will have an opportunity to do:
We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Expo/Server Assistant to join our team! This position serves as the communication link between the culinary and service teams, ensuring all food orders are prepared accurately, plated to established standards, and delivered to guests in a timely manner.

Your Expo Role:
Coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to service staff across multiple dining outlets.
Review and organize incoming orders to ensure accuracy and timely preparation.
Ensure all menu items are prepared according to recipe, presentation, and quality standards.
Communicate order modifications, special dietary requests, and guest preferences to culinary and service teams.
Prioritize food delivery based on service needs while maintaining proper temperature and quality.
Monitor ticket times and alert culinary leadership of delays or service bottlenecks.
Assist chefs and line cooks by organizing and garnishing plates when necessary.
Verify completeness of orders before releasing them for service.
Maintain clear and professional communication with restaurant managers, chefs, servers, banquet staff, and in-room dining personnel.
Support banquet and special event operations by coordinating large-volume food service.
Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and resort operating standards.
Keep expo stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout shifts.
Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
Your S/A Role:
Be thoroughly familiar with the menus, ingredients, and methods of preparation for each dish, wine list, as well as hours of operation for all food and beverage outlets.
Has a thorough knowledge of the room layout and the property in general. Is knowledgeable about the hotel and its amenities.
Collects orders from the kitchen, ensuring they have been prepared correctly; and promptly and efficiently deliver to the guests.
Assists with the clearing tables as needed. Reset with proper linen, china, silver and glassware.
Be thoroughly familiar with all standards of proper service etiquette and will practice these standards throughout the guests dining experience.
Consistently delivers courteous, professional service.
Maintains high standards of cleanliness (personal appearance, equipment, and facility) always.
