Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manager role based in Patna. The Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate movement of parcels and freight across local and regional networks. Responsibilities include managing teams and workflows, monitoring performance against operational and service-level metrics, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners, and resolving escalations in a structured manner. The role involves analyzing data and operational reports to drive process improvements, implementing safety and compliance standards, and optimizing resource utilization. The Manager will also support technology adoption, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
Operational management skills covering logistics, warehousing, or transportation, with experience in supervising teams and managing shift-based workloads.
Strong planning and coordination capabilities, including route and capacity planning, resource allocation, and vendor or partner coordination.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, use dashboards or MIS tools, and implement process improvements.
Communication and stakeholder management skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, handling customer or client escalations, and providing clear updates.
Proficiency with digital tools and logistics technology platforms; comfort working with basic office software and operational reporting systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Experience in logistics, e-commerce, supply chain, or related industries, preferably in an on-ground leadership or supervisory role.
Ability to work on-site in Patna, maintain high standards of integrity and safety, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
