Completes medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
Informs resident or responsible party of the benefits & side effects of medications & treatments.
Performs essential medication management functions such as medication cart audits and documentation.
Works closely with Director of Nursing and MD with administrative tasks, ensuring resident safety and regulatory compliance.
Orients and assists Certified Medication Technicians and Personal Care Assistants.
Current LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum one (1) year experience in medical/surgical, rehab or geriatric nursing.
General working knowledge of the aging services industry.
Proven supervisory and leadership skills
