Software Technical Expert – Java

Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Technical Expert – Java to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where the candidate is expected to actively participate in coding, architecture discussions, technical design, and mentoring while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud-native development, API integrations, database design, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring technologies.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and software design.
Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Managers, QA, and DevOps teams.
Drive architectural decisions and establish development standards across projects.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
Participate actively in coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Plan deliveries, define milestones, and ensure timely execution of project commitments.
Identify project risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies.
Ensure high application availability, scalability, reliability, and security.
Work with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Contribute to platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.
Promote engineering best practices, including design patterns, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
