About The Job
To manage the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting at Barclays.
Key Responsibilities
Management of the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and other accounting records in accordance with relevant standards.
Support in identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, and report on these financial risks to senior colleagues.
Development and maintenance of a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial data accuracy.
Development and implementation of up-to-date financial policies and procedures across the organisation.
Preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory reports to authorities.
Requirements
Requirements
Experienced with MS office toolkit including Word, PPT, Excel, and Access Database
Qualified accountant
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to interact globally
Strong control awareness to identify and escalate potential control breakdowns
Preferred Qualifications
CFA or master’s in finance or financial engineering
Audit exposure in large financial institutions or banks
