Role Description The Vice President of Excellence Investment Management is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the firm’s real estate investment portfolio. This role involves developing and refining investment strategies, leading rigorous due diligence processes, and evaluating new acquisition and disposition opportunities. The person in this role will collaborate closely with executive leadership to set portfolio performance targets, monitor financial results, and implement best practices in investment governance. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial models, analyzing market trends, preparing investment memos, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and investors. The Vice President will also mentor team members, establish performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement in investment processes, reporting, and risk management.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with a proven track record managing complex real estate or related asset portfolios.
Advanced Finance skills, including financial modeling, valuation, cash flow analysis, and performance measurement.
Demonstrated experience in Due Diligence, including market research, property and sponsor evaluation, risk assessment, and deal structuring.
Ability to design and execute Investment Strategies aligned with the firm’s growth objectives and risk profile.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field; an MBA or similar advanced degree is advantageous.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Experience leading remote teams, managing cross-functional projects, and building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
