Warehouse Assistant- Picker/Packer

The Warehouse Assistant ensures orders are accurate and is responsible for actioning pick ticket orders by retrieving and staging inventory to ensure the accurate delivery of warehouse products. Additionally, the Warehouse Assistant packs and secures products including shrink wrapping contents onto pallets and loading items on delivery vehicles to facilitate the smooth flow of deliveries in warehouse operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages pick ticket orders
Retrieve products on pick tickets based on description and quantity
Ensures that orders are accurate
Stages items correctly for delivery
Ensures warehouse goals are met
Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
Shrink wraps products to pallets
Loads delivery vehicles
Packs warehouse orders as necessary
Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum three (3) CXCs or CSEC subjects
At least two (2) years working experience in a relatable role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent Time Management and Customer Service skills.
Must have a meticulous attention to detail.
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
High level of analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be reliable and able to function independently and handle a variety of responsibilities under pressure.
