About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Role Summary
We need a C# developer who can quickly understand an existing .NET setup, design and write new APIs, and support integration work around the current platform (including kiosk-related connectivity as a plus). Blazor UI/UX work is secondary. The engineer must communicate clearly with internal teams and client-facing stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Primary - C# / APIs / existing setup
Ramp up on the existing .NET codebase, configuration, and integration points; document findings and ask precise clarifying questions.
Design, implement, and maintain new Web APIs using C# and .NET Framework (primary stack), following existing patterns and coding standards.
Extend or create controllers, models/DTOs, validation, error handling, and service-layer logic for new and changed features.
Integrate new APIs with existing backend services, data access layers, and downstream consumers.
Debug and resolve API, integration, and runtime issues using logs, tooling, and systematic root-cause analysis.
Participate in code reviews; write clean, maintainable, testable C# with clear naming and structure.
Collaborate with architects, backend peers, QA, and product on estimates, technical approach, and delivery status.
Contribute to or support kiosk connectivity and related integration flows (protocols, local services, device/agent communication) when required; prior exposure is a plus.
Secondary - Blazor UI/UX
Build or enhance Blazor screens and Razor components (Blazor Server or Blazor WebAssembly, as used by the project).
Consume REST APIs from Blazor with clear loading, error, and success states.
Apply basic UI/UX judgment: usability, responsive layout, and consistency with existing UI patterns or component libraries.
Communication And Collaboration
Provide clear written status updates, technical explanations, and handover notes.
Translate ambiguous requirements into concrete technical questions and proposed options.
Communicate professionally in English in standups, reviews, and client rounds when involved.
