JL Closets, a 35-year leader in premium custom storage solutions, is looking for a Design Review & Training Specialist to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you’ll review designs for technical accuracy, uphold our quality standards, and train and support our design team to ensure every project meets our expectations.

What You’ll Do
Review Designs: Inspect 3D plans, technical measurements, specifications, and quotes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Train & Support Designers: Provide ongoing technical training, constructive feedback, and follow-up to improve design quality.
Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure design submissions meet JL Closets’ technical requirements and quality expectations.
Identify & Correct Errors: Detect discrepancies, recommend corrections, and help prevent recurring design issues.
Improve Design Processes: Identify opportunities to improve design accuracy, consistency, and team workflows.
Promote Best Practices: Help designers follow established procedures and maintain consistent standards across projects.
What We’re Looking For
Background: A degree or professional background in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of closet design, interior layouts, technical drawings, measurements, and specifications.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and the ability to identify design errors and inconsistencies.
Communication & Training: Strong English communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, mentor designers, and provide constructive feedback.
Technical Skills: Experience with KCD Software or similar design tools is preferred; Zoho CRM experience is a plus.
Work Style: Organized, proactive, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
