About the Opportunity:
The AI APPLICATION ENGINEER role involves developing next-generation enterprise AI applications that integrate large language models, AI agents, and dynamic data interfaces. This position is central to delivering configurable, domain-specific AI tools that enhance decision-making, automate workflows, and improve business analytics. The engineer will contribute directly to building innovative platforms that transform business requirements into practical, production-ready software.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop full-stack AI applications with Python, REST APIs, React/TypeScript, and relational databases
Implement AI-powered features using LLMs, RAG, semantic search, and agent-based systems
Integrate AI agents with enterprise data sources, APIs, and business platforms
Build a configurable AI platform supporting domain knowledge and workflow automation
Develop data visualizations, dashboards, chat interfaces, and AI-assisted workflows
Experiment with and apply emerging AI technologies and frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into applications
Produce maintainable, tested, secure software following modern development practices
Utilize AI coding assistants to enhance development efficiency
Support modernization and integration of existing applications as required
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years in software development with backend and/or full-stack experience
Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance
Proficiency in Python and REST API development using FastAPI, Flask, or similar
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React or equivalent frontend frameworks
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL
Practical experience with LLM-powered applications, including RAG and AI agents
Familiarity with Git, Docker, testing, debugging, and rapid learning of new frameworks
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
