Registered Dietitian

Location: Remote — work from home in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Utah
Employment type: Full-time or part-time
Base salary range: $71,000–$86,000 per year
Expected starting salary: $71,000–$76,000 per year
The opportunity
Sensibly Sprouted is hiring a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to provide one-on-one outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) by telehealth. You’ll build lasting patient relationships through nutrition assessment, individualized care plans, counseling, and ongoing follow-up.
This opening is in our Primary Practice pathway. You’ll independently manage an active caseload across a broad range of patient needs, using sound clinical judgment to deliver consistent, high-quality care. Primary Practice is a long-term patient-care role with room to deepen your clinical expertise.
What you’ll do
Independently assess patients, provide evidence-based MNT, and adjust care plans as their needs change.
Use counseling strategies that fit each patient’s goals, readiness, and barriers to change.
Build strong patient relationships and support engagement, follow-through, and continuity of care.
Manage an active caseload while maintaining accurate records and meeting clinical and scheduling standards.
Participate in case review and continue expanding your clinical knowledge and treatment breadth.
What you’ll bring
A Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
Applicable state licensure, or eligibility to obtain required licensure.
Demonstrated ability to independently provide outpatient or longitudinal MNT across varied patient needs.
Sound clinical judgment, effective counseling, and strong patient-management skills.
Clear communication, dependable follow-through, and comfort managing an active caseload.
Readiness for Primary Practice is based on directly relevant MNT capability, rather than total years of dietetics experience or advanced credentials.
Your growth
Primary Practice offers a long-term clinical career path with continued growth in expertise, specialized knowledge, and patient-management capability. Starting pay reflects directly relevant MNT experience and demonstrated readiness; placement above the expected starting range requires especially strong, transferable capability.
Benefits
Eligible team members receive medical, dental, and vision coverage; employer healthcare contributions; a 401(k) with a 3% employer non-matching contribution; paid time off and holidays; and professional development support. Sensibly Sprouted also pays required professional liability insurance, state licensure fees, and CDR registration and renewal fees where applicable.
