Drop Ship Merch Analyst - Remote

Job Description
The ideal Drop Ship Merch Analyst is analytical, demonstrates reliability, is results-oriented and views the business through the lens of the customer. This role within our Digital Production organization serves as a key connection point between our merchandising partners and vendors day to day, ensuring the drop ship assortment aligns to financial goals of assigned AOR and program guardrails vendors for drop ship departments assigned. This role works cross-functionally across supply chain, operations, merchandising, and digital to improve efficiency and accuracy throughout the lifecycle of a supplier and their products on the drop ship program.
A day in the life…
Monitor drop ship assortment health to ensure profitability and productivity through daily, weekly and monthly actions.
Partner with merchandising on assortment financial goals and effectively communicate drop ship successes, opportunities, and risks.
Develop and build strong partnerships with suppliers that support business needs and inform item lifecycle decisions.
Support getting drop ship items reliably live on site on time through ongoing supplier outreach and partnerships with brands, merchandising and VAA.
Create and share monthly business reviews that provide analysis and actionable insights at the banner, department, supplier and/or item level in support of KPIs.
Troubleshoot drop ship related issues, seek solutions, assess impact, and escalate as needed.
Assist in drop ship returns activities.
Action ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Participate in overarching process improvement and adapt to changes in reporting, systems and tools.
You own this if you have…
Vendor communication experience with expertise on drop ship attributes A Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or related field (preferred)
Experience in retail merchandising, planning or analysis
Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
Strong business acumen, ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and strong math skills
You are a problem solver that seeks creative solutions to complex problems
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (primarily excel navigation, formulas and pivot tables)

Pay Range Details

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
California: $52,200 - $104,400 Annually, Colorado: $52,200 - $83,500 Annually, Connecticut: $52,200 - $96,000 Annually, Hawaii: $52,200 - $83,500 Annually, Illinois: $52,200 - $83,500 Annually, Maryland: $52,200 - $96,000 Annually, Massachusetts: $52,200 - $96,000 Annually, Minnesota: $52,200 - $53,500 Annually, Nevada: $52,200 - $83,500 Annually, New Jersey: $52,200 - $96,000 Annually, New York: $52,200 - $104,400 Annually, Rhode Island: $25.00 - $40.25 Hourly, Washington: $52,200 - $96,000 Annually, Washington DC: $29.00 - $46.25 Hourly
