Lead II - Data Engineering

Role Description
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows using Informatica. Build, optimize, and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models in Greenplum/PostgreSQL. Work with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Redshift and Snowflake. Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and compliance with data governance standards. Troubleshoot ETL failures, analyze root causes, and provide timely fixes. Perform application support activities including batch/job monitoring, incident triage, and resolution of job failures. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of daily, weekly, and monthly data loads. Identify recurring production issues and implement long-term preventive solutions. Partner with cross-functional teams to support production releases and data pipeline enhancements. Required Skills 8–10+ years of experience in Informatica ETL development, database engineering, or data integration roles. Strong experience with Greenplum or other MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) systems. Exposure to cloud data warehousing platforms (Redshift, Snowflake, etc.). Experience in financial services or large-scale, data-intensive environments. Linux shell scripting and familiarity with Git, CI/CD processes. Experience with production support, job scheduling tools (Autosys/Control-M/Airflow), and incident management workflows. Good to Have Experience with Airflow orchestration, Kafka streaming, or enterprise data quality frameworks. Knowledge of financial datasets such as Transactions, Positions, and Corporate Actions. Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
