About the Opportunity:
The MANAGER, BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & ANALYTICS, MERCHANDISING is responsible for providing strategic insights and thought leadership to optimize store planning and merchandising initiatives. This role translates complex data into actionable strategies that directly impact retail store layouts and business outcomes. The manager contributes to enhancing operational efficiency and supports decision-making that shapes the retail experience.
Responsibilities:
Drive monthly store planning and productivity reporting by addressing complex business questions and refining executive reports.
Support store planning and merchandise operations, including rollout plans for new brands, store segmentation, and product placement optimization.
Assist in evaluating and deploying space planning software to improve space utilization and ensure integration with core data systems.
Support monthly merchandising and weekly operational performance reviews to monitor key metrics and strategic objectives.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in analytics or data science with skills in mining and analyzing large, complex datasets.
Proficient in data mining, query writing, advanced Excel modeling, and intermediate-to-advanced PowerPoint and data visualization.
Strong problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial approach to managing multiple projects and ambiguous questions.
Effective communication skills to simplify complex topics and influence senior executives.
Demonstrated initiative, autonomy, optimism, and ability to build cross-functional partnerships.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The annual base salary range for this position is $155,000.00 to $172,000.00.
