This role reviews and processes purchase requisitions and related procure-to-pay transactions, ensuring that business information, supporting documentation, supplier details, and required approvals are complete and accurate.
The Analyst serves as an operational point of contact and trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing guidance, resolving procurement-related issues, and coordinating with Sourcing, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Accounts Payable, Supplier Enablement, Information Technology, and regional procurement teams. The role also supports the resolution of procure-to-pay exceptions, process documentation, operational reporting, and initiatives designed to improve efficiency, consistency, compliance, and the stakeholder experience.
Essential Job Duties
Review and process purchasing transactions: Review and approve assigned purchase requisitions across applicable request types, confirming that business information, supporting documentation, and required approvals are complete and accurate.
Apply procurement policies and controls: Evaluate transactions against applicable procurement policies and approval requirements, and address incomplete or inconsistent requests through clarification, return, or escalation as appropriate.
Coordinate cross-functional reviews: Determine when requests require input from Sourcing, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Accounts Payable, Regulatory, Supplier Enablement, Information Technology, or other functional partners, and support the appropriate routing and handoffs.
Support purchase order and supplier-related processes: Review purchase order change requests and support supplier onboarding, supplier updates, purchase order maintenance, and other assigned procure-to-pay activities.
Resolve procure-to-pay exceptions: Investigate and resolve operational issues affecting purchase orders, invoices, and related transactions, coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders and functional partners.
Provide stakeholder support and procurement guidance: Respond to procurement inquiries through approved support channels, providing clear and timely guidance and managing follow-up actions through resolution.
Support operational performance: Manage assigned work in line with established service expectations and team KPIs, monitoring assigned queues, prioritizing time-sensitive requests, and communicating status and potential delays.
Contribute to process improvement: Support the development and maintenance of process documentation, templates, and training materials, and identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and the stakeholder experience.
Required Skills and Experience

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and with virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom.
Experience using reporting and workflow tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Smartsheet to track, analyze, and report operational information.
Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools and willingness to apply them to improve accuracy, efficiency, and communication.
