About The Company
SSCL LTD provides shared services that support organisations in delivering essential business operations. The company brings together people, processes and technology to help services run efficiently and consistently. Working at SSCL means contributing to a collaborative environment where reliable service, continuous improvement and professional development are valued. Teams work with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions, building strong working relationships while helping meet operational needs. As the organisation evolves, employees are encouraged to share ideas, adapt to change and contribute to the quality of the services delivered.
About The Role
SSCL LTD is seeking a Business Services Associate to support the effective delivery of day-to-day services. This role is suited to a service-focused professional who is organised, dependable and comfortable balancing varied tasks. You will work with colleagues and internal or external stakeholders to respond to requests, maintain accurate information and help ensure that work is completed within agreed processes and timeframes. The role requires clear communication, sound judgement and a willingness to learn. You will receive guidance appropriate to your responsibilities and will be expected to take ownership of assigned work, raise concerns promptly and contribute to a respectful, solutions-oriented team environment.
This position may involve using business systems, handling confidential information and following established procedures. You should be prepared to adapt as priorities, tools and service requirements change. Success will be measured through the accuracy and timeliness of your work, the quality of your interactions and your contribution to team objectives.
Qualifications
Applicants should have experience in a customer service, administrative, operational or other business support environment, or demonstrate transferable skills relevant to the role. A strong standard of written and verbal communication is essential, along with the ability to organise workloads and meet deadlines. You should be confident using common workplace technology, including email, document tools and digital systems, and be willing to learn new applications.
We are looking for someone who is attentive to detail, dependable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will handle information responsibly, follow procedures and use discretion when dealing with sensitive matters. You should be open to feedback, able to identify when guidance is needed and motivated to develop your skills. Equivalent practical experience, training or qualifications may be considered.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will respond to service requests and enquiries professionally, providing accurate information or directing requests to the appropriate team. You will process routine tasks in line with documented procedures, maintain clear and complete records, and check your work for accuracy before completion. You will manage competing priorities, monitor outstanding actions and communicate progress or delays to relevant colleagues.
You will work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders, sharing information appropriately and supporting consistent service delivery. You will protect confidential information, follow applicable policies and escalate risks, errors or unusual requests through the correct channels. You will also contribute to team meetings, training and knowledge sharing, and suggest practical improvements when you identify opportunities to make processes clearer or more efficient.
Benefits
SSCL LTD offers the opportunity to build experience in a collaborative business services environment and to develop transferable skills across service delivery, administration and stakeholder support. Employees may have access to role-related training, learning resources and opportunities to develop their careers, subject to business requirements and eligibility. Additional terms, benefits and working arrangements will be explained during the recruitment process and confirmed in the employment offer. The organisation aims to support a professional workplace in which employees can contribute, learn and perform effectively.
Equal Opportunity
SSCL LTD is committed to fair and inclusive recruitment. Applications are welcomed from people of all backgrounds, and candidates will be assessed against the requirements of the role. We aim to provide a respectful environment free from discrimination and to make reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process where required. If you need an adjustment to apply or participate in an interview, please let the recruitment team know.
