The department focuses on delivering effective and efficient management of LNA’s diverse venues, ensuring they remain competitive and relevant in the dynamic live entertainment market.
About the role:
Big venues, big audiences and a national marketing strategy that’s yours to own. Join Venue Nation as our National Marketing Manager, Venues.
You’ll shape how our Australian venues show up, sell and grow. That means owning the national marketing strategy, leading a high-performing team, and turning data-led insights into real revenue and audience growth, from lifecycle marketing in Braze to membership, premium hospitality and F&B.
Reporting to the SVP Venue Mobilisation & Operations, you’ll be the senior marketing voice across Bookings, Operations, Finance, Ticketing and Sponsorship, while working closely with promoters, agencies and partners to deliver standout campaigns.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, open to candidates based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. If you think you have what it takes, apply now with both your resume and a cover letter outlining why you’re the perfect fit for this role.
What you’ll be doing:
National strategy: Define and lead the national marketing strategy across all venues, aligning with business goals to drive revenue and audience growth.
Team leadership: Build and develop a high-performing national team with clear objectives, accountability and growth pathways.
Brand and frameworks: Set the national brand standards and best practice frameworks for a consistent experience across every touchpoint.
Lifecycle and digital: Own the national lifecycle strategy in Braze and lead website UX and marketing tech improvements.
Ancillary revenue: Drive go-to-market plans for membership, premium hospitality and F&B, plus paid media products for hirers.
Performance and reporting: Oversee campaign measurement and deliver clear monthly, quarterly and annual insights to executives.
Agency leadership: Lead the national agency relationship, setting creative and paid media direction and delivering against KPIs.
Stakeholder alignment: Bring marketing, technology and commercial teams together for integrated delivery of national initiatives.
What you’ll bring:
National experience: A track record leading national marketing strategy across live entertainment, events or a comparable industry.
Leadership skills: Proven experience managing and developing marketing teams.
CRM expertise: Strong lifecycle marketing and CRM knowledge, with campaign experience in Braze or similar platforms.
Commercial acumen: Confident managing budgets, setting KPIs and reporting on ROI.
Stakeholder management: Comfortable working with senior leaders, agencies and external partners.
Tech confidence: Able to lead marketing tech conversations with product, development and data teams.
Digital know-how: A deep understanding of digital media trends, customer data platforms and marketing automation.
Bonus points: Familiarity with Australia’s live music and performing arts landscape, or experience with CRM migrations and digital transformation projects.
The Benefits:
A vibrant, music-focused workplace fostering creativity and collaboration.
Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
A flexible approach to when and where you work, designed to support balance in all aspects of life.
Access to concerts, events, and other entertainment perks.
A diverse, equitable workplace where every voice matters.
Comprehensive benefits, from volunteer days to wellness programs and mental health support.
