About the Group
We are a diversified international business group with operations and commercial interests across multiple countries, specializing in minerals and metals trading, manufacturing, sourcing, imports, exports, logistics, and trade finance.
As part of our digital transformation initiative, we intend to develop an integrated, AI-enabled business operating platform that connects our commercial, operational, financial, and management functions.
We are seeking a hands-on AI Automation Lead capable of independently designing, developing, deploying, and scaling intelligent automation solutions across the group.
Position Objective
To lead the development of a centralized AI-powered business automation and intelligence ecosystem covering the complete commercial lifecycle—from global market research, customer acquisition, supplier sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, international logistics, and trade finance through collections, financial realization, and management reporting.
The successful candidate must combine strong software engineering capabilities with an understanding of business processes, data architecture, enterprise integrations, and AI-powered research systems.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
A. AI Agents, Bots & Intelligent Workflow Automation
* Design and deploy AI-powered agents and bots for business process automation.* Build intelligent workflows using Python, n8n, Power Automate, UiPath, or equivalent technologies.* Automate data collection, document processing, email classification, task allocation, approvals, reminders, and management reporting.* Develop AI systems capable of extracting, analyzing, validating, and organizing structured and unstructured business information.* Implement reliable workflow orchestration, exception handling, audit trails, and human approval mechanisms.
B. End-to-End Trade & Manufacturing Automation
* Map and automate the full purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes.* Digitize RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, sales contracts, supplier management, and customer order tracking.* Develop manufacturing and inventory monitoring systems covering raw materials, production status, quality checks, warehouse movements, and dispatches.* Automate export/import documentation workflows including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, inspection certificates, and customs-related documents.* Integrate shipping, freight forwarding, logistics milestones, delivery confirmations, and transaction-level profitability.* Establish transaction-level visibility across all participating group entities.
C. Global Market Research & Commercial Intelligence
* Develop AI-enabled research systems for international minerals and metals markets.* Build searchable, structured databases of global importers, exporters, buyers, manufacturers, suppliers, commodity traders, and logistics providers.* Automate market mapping by commodity, country, trade route, demand, supply, and potential business opportunity.* Collect and analyze information from licensed trade databases, public registries, market intelligence platforms, and authorized data sources.* Build data enrichment, duplicate detection, company classification, contact verification, and research update workflows.* Generate actionable business intelligence reports for commercial and business development teams.
D. Trade Finance, Banking & Investment Intelligence
* Build and maintain structured databases of international banks, NBFCs, trade finance institutions, private credit funds, alternative lenders, and investment institutions.* Develop tools to identify potential financing institutions based on geography, transaction type, commodity, collateral, and funding requirements.* Automate lender prospect research, eligibility screening, outreach tracking, follow-ups, and financing pipeline management.* Develop systems to organize financing documentation, transaction information, KYC requirements, and due diligence checklists.* Automate monitoring of letters of credit, bank guarantees, receivables financing, invoice discounting, trade loans, and other working capital arrangements.* Build dashboards for funding proposals, lender engagement, sanctions, disbursements, repayment schedules, and outstanding obligations.
E. Group Management Information Systems
* Develop centralized management dashboards covering multiple group companies and international operations.* Consolidate data from ERP, accounting, spreadsheets, databases, emails, and operational applications.* Automate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.* Develop dashboards for procurement, production, sales, shipments, inventory, profitability, working capital, cash flow, receivables, and financing.* Create exception-based alerts for management intervention.* Establish consistent reporting definitions, data quality controls, and entity-wise access permissions.
F. Systems Integration & Technology Architecture
* Design scalable databases, APIs, data pipelines, workflow engines, and internal applications.* Integrate existing ERP, CRM, accounting, document management, and communication platforms.* Develop secure cloud-based or hybrid technology infrastructure.* Implement role-based access control, encryption, logging, monitoring, backup, and recovery processes.* Ensure compliance with applicable data protection, cross-border data transfer, and commercial data licensing requirements.* Maintain technical documentation, source code repositories, testing procedures, and deployment standards.
Mandatory Technical Qualifications
* Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and backend development.* Practical experience integrating LLMs and developing AI agents, tool-calling systems, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions.* Hands-on experience with n8n, Power Automate, UiPath, or equivalent workflow automation platforms.* Experience in database architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, data extraction, validation, and integration.* Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or comparable relational databases.* Working knowledge of Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools.* Experience integrating ERP, CRM, finance, and third-party business applications.* Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Git, CI/CD, testing, and production monitoring.* Ability to independently take solutions from business requirements through deployment and maintenance.
Preferred Experience
* International trade and commodity trading operations.* Manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and logistics technology.* Trade finance, banking, lending, or fintech automation.* Multi-company, multi-currency, and cross-border operations.* Enterprise automation projects with measurable business outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a builder, not merely a technology coordinator.
The ideal candidate should be technically independent, commercially aware, analytical, and capable of working closely with senior leadership.
They must be able to understand business operations, translate requirements into technical solutions, write and review code, integrate systems, troubleshoot production issues, and progressively establish a scalable technology ecosystem.
