Senior Technical Service Specialist, Power

Job Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To act as technical expert to interface/bridge between customer technical department and internal stakeholders (Quality, commercial, T&I and Production)
-To develop new or modify existing Power formulations, conduct lab test and field trials as planned
- To develop or modify application process to fit new application and performance requirement.
- To lead on-site Technical/Application support/line audit and handle customer complaints by site investigation and plant follow up
- To modify the product to fit new application and performance requirement
- To generate accurate data and compile technical reports and handle related technical documents
- To review procedures and methods, make enhancement
suggestions
- To Provide technical trainings to customer / marketing / Sales
- To collect and analyze the competitor’s product information
- To keep track on the Casting and Encapsulation technology development trend
- To maintain lab EHS and house-keeping standard
KEY REQUIREMENTS
M.Sc in material science, material engineering, chemical engineering, polymer materials, applied Chemistry.
Experiences:
At least 10 years in product development, application support or field promotion of casting materials, focusing on vacuum casting, APG process, potting materials, preferable in heavy electric and/or light electric, thermosetting material chemical background. And additional 1-5 years formulation development experience.
Technology Competencies:
• Demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of practice in formulation technology for casting and encapsulation product functionalities;
• Demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of practice in controlled processing for thermoset casting and encapsulation material system;
• Demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of practice in curing and crosslinking technologies;
• Demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of practice in mechanical characterization and testing of casting and encapsulation thermoset material system;
• Demonstrate a basic to intermediate level of practice in electrical characterization and testing of casting and encapsulation thermoset material system;
• Demonstrate a basic to intermediate level of practice in material processing structure-property-performance relationships and structure property mapping of casting and encapsulation materials system;
• Demonstrate a basic to intermediate level of practice of rheology and chemo-rheology for casting and encapsulation thermoset materials;
• Demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of practice in vacuum casting, vacuum potting and / or automatic pressure gelation process for electrical application.
