Base Pay according tariff ranges between 4.633€ - 5.483€ gross per month
Instructor Engine Technology
As Instructor, you are responsible for providing technical training in mechanical and control and monitoring systems for GCM34 Caterpillar Engines, for EPG and Oil and Gas.
What you will do:
Provide theoretical and practical training for customers and Caterpillar personnel in accordance with the training guidelines of the Caterpillar Training Center in Kiel.
Plan, develop and install new training equipment.

Develop new training material.
Prepare theoretical and practical exercises for training courses
Maintenance, repair, and care of the training facilities
Work closely with the Commissioning Team, our Engineering, Project Management and Customer Service
Comprehensive customer support in Kiel and on-site
What you have (Key Skills/Experience Required)
Industrial or mechatronic technician
Routine in engine works is mandatory
Knowledge of the medium speed gas engine (Caterpillar/MaK or comparable engines)
Experience in Power Plant related service tasks and maintenance intervals.
Experience in troubleshooting engine controls
Good understanding of the individual Balance of Plant components and their interrelationships.
Very good German (at least C1) and very good English skills (at least B2)
Digital competency in Office 365
Willingness to travel worldwide up to 50%
High degree of self-organisation
Enjoy interacting with people
Teamwork Skills
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills)
Experience as a field service technician for GCM34
Worked previously as an instructor for medium speed engines

Base Minimum Pay:
€2,211.58
Please note that salary is only one component of the total compensation and benefit package available at Caterpillar.
This position requires working onsite five days a week.
