About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, implement, and scale highly available cloud platforms and production systems. You will play a key role in improving reliability, observability, automation, security, and operational efficiency across complex cloud-native environments.
You will work with reliability initiatives, drive platform improvements, and partner with multiple engineering teams to build resilient, scalable services. AI-enabled operations, observability, and automation will be core components of your approach to reliability engineering.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure supporting production workloads.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management using Infrastructure-as-Code.
Lead reliability improvements across distributed cloud-native systems.
Define and enforce SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and reliability standards.
Manage and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines including automated testing, blue-green deployments, and canary releases.
Optimize Kubernetes environments for availability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Implement comprehensive observability strategies including advanced monitoring, distributed tracing, logging, and alerting.
Troubleshoot and resolve large-scale reliability, latency, and performance issues.
Work with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.
Implement cloud security, identity, access control, and infrastructure governance best practices.
Drive incident management, root-cause analysis, and operational improvement initiatives.
Lead capacity planning, performance optimization, and reliability forecasting activities.
Apply AI technologies to improve observability, automate operational workflows, generate runbooks, and enhance troubleshooting processes.
Mentor junior engineers and promote Site Reliability Engineering best practices.
Partner with platform, security, and engineering teams to improve resilience and operational excellence.
3-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
Experience designing and operating scalable distributed systems in cloud environments.
Strong expertise with Azure, AWS, GCP, or hybrid-cloud platforms.

Experience operating and optimizing CI/CD and deployment automation platforms.
Expertise in observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or New Relic.
Strong understanding of reliability engineering concepts including SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, error budgets, and incident management.
Experience with messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
Strong knowledge of networking, cloud security, identity management, and automation practices.
Proven ability to troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues at scale.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted solutions for observability, automation, operational analytics, and runbook generation.
Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
