Warehouse Operative
Location: Coatbridge
Work Pattern: 20 Hours per Week, 08:00-12:00
Monday to Friday
Rate of Pay: £13.07 per hour
Summary of Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Coatbridge. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, and enjoys working as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of warehouse activities.
Responsibilities
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
Receive, unload, and store deliveries safely and efficiently.
Conduct stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy.
Ensure products are handled and stored in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Operate warehouse equipment safely following training and procedures.
Support colleagues and contribute to achieving team targets.
Adhere to all health and safety policies and site regulations.

Skills and Knowledge
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Desirable
Experience using warehouse management systems.
Previous order picking and packing experience.
Understanding of stock control processes.
Experience working within a distribution or logistics environment.
