Oracle Lease account Consultant

5+ years of Oracle Financials experience with at least 1–2 Lease Accounting cloud end-end implementations. Strong knowledge of ASC 842 and IFRS 16. Experience with lease lifecycle management and lease accounting processes. Understanding of AP, GL, Fixed Assets, and Subledger Accounting. Good awareness of the available Out-of-the-box (OOTB) integrations in Oracle Lease accounting. Thorough understanding of upstream process flows with which lease accounting has integration. Ability to deliver under strict timelines. Good communication and customer-facing skills Lead requirement gathering and solution design for lease accounting processes. Configure Lease Accounting Cloud including: Lease Creation and Amendments Lease Activation and Termination Rent Escalations Variable Lease Payments Short-Term and Long-Term Lease Classification Subleases Configure lease accounting treatments including: Right-of-Use (ROU) Assets Lease Liability Calculations Amortization Schedules Interest Accruals Support migration of lease data from legacy systems and third-party lease applications. Design integrations with AP, GL, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. Prepare accounting and disclosure reports for compliance requirements. Conduct testing, reconciliation, training, and go-live support activities. Support audit requests and lease accounting governance processes. Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability Good knowledge on software configuration management systems Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions One or two industry domain knowledge Client Interfacing skills Project and Team management
