Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Java, Angular) - Scarlet
Department: ISPL 2S IT, Cross Business Solutions (CBS)
About Business line/Function: Cross Business Solutions, delivering the best-in-class, innovative, sustainable, secure and cost-efficient transversal solutions and referential systems within Securities Services, CIB and the Group.
Position Purpose: Seeking a Java Developer (Full stack) for the application SCARLET in CBS.
SCARLET is a major mainframe transformation program in CBS.
Looking for a candidate with 6 to 8 years of experience, motivated and enthusiastic Associate Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, the candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications, working across both front-end and back-end technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in full-stack development within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality web applications using Java and modern front-end technologies.
Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand project requirements and implement solutions.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring Boot.
Design and implement interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular framework.
Work with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) for data storage and management.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Assist in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting application issues to ensure high performance and reliability.
Participate in Agile processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve your technical skills
Contributing Responsibilities
Identify non-functional requirements and integrate them into proposals
Estimate roughly solutions costs
Identify and raise alerts on weak/obsolete code already implemented
Analyzing defect trends and recommending test automation opportunities or tool enhancements
Technical & Behavioral Competencies

CAMUNDA experience is a nice to have
Technical Skills
Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular
Knowledge of databases: SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker.
Experience in using Kubernetes for orchestration.
Good knowledge of and experience with messaging systems such as MQ, Kafka, CFT.
