An opportunity has just arisen within the finance team of Airbus Defence and Space. Within the accounting team, you will contribute to the accounting activities across a transverse scope covering several operational entities. You will work on fixed assets, project accounting operations in SAP, and general ledger tasks. The role requires strong command of accounting tools, especially SAP, and an interest in process automation.
Main activities and responsibilities are
Fixed Assets
Review of purchase baskets: analysis of capitalizable expenses, asset category validation, investment request follow‑up
Assets under construction monitoring: project tracking, documentation of flows, follow up with assets owner/controllers, preparation of asset capitalization
Depreciation: validation of depreciation plans, monthly checks, account reconciliation
Account justification: monthly analyses, reconciliations, contribution to multi‑entity closing
Internal control: Ensure Internal Controls are in place and properly documented
Project Accounting Closing Operations (SAP system)
Review of pending goods receipts
Analysis of purchase order/invoice discrepancies
General ledger
You will support existing teams on general ledger activities. You may contribute to tasks such as provisions or accruals, payroll, and participate in reconciliations and account reviews required for multi‑entity closings.
Candidate Profile
Equivalent to a 2- or 3-year degree in accounting
A minimum of 2 years of experience, ideally in general accounting
Strong analytical skills and rigor; ability to work across a multi‑entity transverse scope
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system / general interest in financial systems
Interest in process automation and continuous improvement
Knowledge of financial compliance risk and a good understanding of financial internal control standards
Experience of interaction with internal or external audit teams
Capacity to work with multiple stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds
Commitment to act with integrity, to ensure the success of the company, maintain its reputation and ensure sustainable growth
Language skills : Operational English
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Une opportunité vient de s’ouvrir au sein de l’équipe finance d’Airbus Defence and Space. Au sein de l’équipe comptable, vous contribuez à la tenue de la comptabilité sur un périmètre transverse couvrant plusieurs entités opérationnelles. Vous intervenez sur les immobilisations, les traitements comptables projets dans SAP ainsi que sur certaines tâches de comptabilité générale. Le poste nécessite une bonne maîtrise des outils comptables, notamment SAP, ainsi qu’une appétence pour l’automatisation des process.
Activités et responsabilités :
Immobilisations (Fixed Assets) :
Revue des paniers d’achat : analyse des dépenses capitalisables, vérification des catégories d’actifs, suivi des demandes d’investissement
Suivi des en‑cours : contrôle des immobilisations en cours, suivi des en-cours avec les contrôleurs projets / contrôleurs de gestion, documentation des flux, préparation des mises en service
Amortissements : validation des plans d’amortissement, contrôle des dotations mensuelles, cadrage des comptes FA
Justification des comptes : analyses mensuelles, réconciliations, participation aux clôtures multi‑entités
Contrôle Interne : S’assurer que les éléments de contrôle interne sont en place et documentés
Traitements comptables des closing projets (système SAP) :
Revue des réceptions non réalisées
Analyse des écarts commande/facture
Comptabilité générale :
Dans le cadre de la comptabilité générale, vous interviendrez en support des équipes en place. Vous pourrez être amené à contribuer à des travaux de type provisions, FNP/FAE, Payroll, ainsi qu’à participer aux cadrages et réconciliations nécessaires au bon déroulement des clôtures multi‑entités.
Compétences requises
Equivalent Bac+2 à Bac+3 en comptabilité
Minimum 2 ans d’expérience, idéalement en comptabilité générale
Rigueur, sens de l’analyse, capacité à travailler sur un périmètre transverse multi‑entités
Connaissance des outils SAP ou d’un système ERP similaire. Intérêt marqué pour les systèmes financiers
Appétence pour l’optimisation / l’automatisation des process
Connaissances des risques de conformité financière et du contrôle interne
Capacité à interagir avec des équipes d’audit internes ou externes
Capacité à travailler avec de multiples parties prenantes issues de cultures différentes
Engagement à agir avec intégrité, afin d’assurer le succès de l’entreprise, de préserver sa réputation et de garantir une croissance durable
Compétences linguistiques : Niveau opérationnel en Anglais exigé
Ce poste exige une sensibilisation aux risques potentiels de conformité ainsi qu’un engagement à agir avec intégrité, fondement du succès, de la réputation et de la croissance durable de l’entreprise.
