Job Title: Forklift Driver (VNA & Counterbalance)
Location: South Normanton
Work Pattern: Full Time, Rotating Shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)
Summary of Role
We are recruiting Forklift Drivers to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation in South Normanton. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced FLT operators looking for stable, full-time work with regular overtime opportunities.
The role will involve operating VNA and Counterbalance trucks, supporting the movement, storage and dispatch of stock while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and productivity.
Responsibilities
Operate VNA and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
Load, unload and move stock throughout the warehouse
Put away stock accurately into designated locations
Pick and replenish products using MHE where required
Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
Follow all site health and safety procedures
Support stock control and inventory accuracy
Assist with general warehouse duties as required

Skills and Knowledge
Safe operation of VNA and/or Counterbalance forklift trucks
Good understanding of warehouse processes and procedures
Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and punctual approach to work
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience operating VNA, Counterbalance, Reach Truck or similar MHE
Either a valid VNA and Counterbalance licence, or strong recent experience operating Reach Trucks with willingness to complete in-house conversion training
Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience
Ability to work rotating shifts on a weekly basis
Desirable
Experience within a high-volume logistics or distribution environment
Multiple MHE licences
Experience working to productivity targets or KPIs
Benefits
£13.65 per hour (£28,392 per annum based on 40 hours)
Rotating 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 shifts
