Vehicle Buyback Specialist

Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this role is to review vehicle buyback cases and accurately identify and document both the initial and final defective causal part and/or condition that led to the vehicle's repurchase by the manufacturer/dealer under "lemon laws."
Key Responsibilities
Review repair records, service orders, and customer communications to determine the specific defective causal part(s) responsible for the vehicle repurchase.
Enter causal part(s) and/or condition that led to buy back into the internal database.
Work collaboratively with Quality Engineers and various internal departments to assist in identifying the causal part(s) and/or condition.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrates strong attention to detail for precise documentation and data entry.
Excellent communication abilities.
Familiarity with automotive repair procedures and diagnostic methods.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Including Excel (mid-level) and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or above; a four-year engineering degree is preferred.
Experience in automotive repair and product quality.
Strong skills in communication, organization, prioritization, and follow-up.
