What You’ll Do
Receive goods and verify counts/quality; report discrepancies promptly
Verify and record all items loaded for shipment
Maintain accurate shipping records, including returns and dunnage
Verify packaged items before shipping to customers
Update shipment data for order accuracy and billing purposes
Prepare bills of lading and shipping tickets
Load and unload trucks using hand trucks, and carts
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
What You’ll Need to Succeed
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
1–2 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience (preferred)
Strong communication skills (basic English required)
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and stay organized
Excellent attention to detail
Team player who can also work independently
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
The Details
Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk I
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Shift/Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday; 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
Location: In Office (Not eligible for remote work)
Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 / Hour DOE
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or sit for long periods
Ability to move around the warehouse and operate heavy machinery as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Working Conditions
Warehouse environment with fluorescent lighting
Regular interruptions and moderate noise levels
