About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer with 5-9 years of hands-on experience in Data Warehousing, ETL development, and database technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, and performance tuning. This role involves working closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient data integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
Create and manage mappings, sessions, workflows, and repositories.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL scripts.
Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources such as Flat Files, Oracle, SQL Server, and Mainframe systems.
Perform Informatica and database performance tuning to optimize ETL processes.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data integration workflows.
Develop Unix/Linux Shell scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks.
Create unit test cases, execute testing, and document results.
Schedule and monitor ETL jobs using Autosys or equivalent scheduling tools.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Required Skills
✅ 4.55-9 years of experience in Informatica Development
✅ Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter (Designer, Workflow Manager, Repository Manager)
✅ Experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL Development
✅ Strong SQL query writing and performance tuning skills
✅ Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
✅ Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies
✅ Experience working with multiple source systems including Oracle, SQL Server, Flat Files, and Mainframe files
✅ Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
✅ Experience in production support and incident resolution
