Technical Lead 1 - Application Development

Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a Technical Lead 1 - Application Development. Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of application features and enhancements based on established technical designs and architectural standards
Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute to software development as needed
Review code to ensure quality, security, maintainability, and adherence to development best practices
Collaborate with technical teams to understand solution designs and guide implementation
Support developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and solution development
Identify technical challenges and recommend effective solutions
Promote consistent coding standards and development practices across the team
Mentor and coach developers to strengthen technical skills and support professional growth
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
7+ years of software development experience
2+ years of experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, Senior Developer, or similar role
Strong hands-on development experience with Node.js, React, Next.js, and microservices architecture
Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development environments
Experience with sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and other Agile development activities
Strong understanding of software development standards, secure coding principles, and best practices
Experience performing code reviews and providing technical guidance to development teams
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to mentor and support other developers
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
