Electrical Engineer 1

Tests components, documents results, and organizes materials to support conceptual design of electrical systems. Supports design implementation by assisting with parts selection, Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) design, schematic capture, design analysis, creating board floor planning and layout designs, and resolving straightforward technical issues. Supports testing, integration, and validation of analog and digital systems and subsystems, by assisting with setup and performing basic testing tasks under supervision. Assists in maintaining technical documentation, such as schematics, test plans, test reports, signal integrity constraints, and bills of materials. Minimum Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
4 years of experience in technical engineering
OR
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Job Skills:
Power Integrity and Signal Integrity: Demonstrated ability to design hardware systems with validated power and signal integrity.
Digital Circuit Design: Demonstrated proficiency in designing and analyzing digital circuits for performance and reliability.

Oscilloscope, Multi-Meters, Signal Analyzers, CAD/PCB tools
Are proficient (e.g., can complete coding projects without any assistance) in one or more of the following programming languages:
C/C++, Assembly language, Shell scripting, Perl, Python
Have academic coursework, projects, internship and/or research experience in three or more of the following technical areas:
Computer Architecture, VLSI, Digital/Analog Circuits, Microelectronics Circuits, Microprocessor Design, Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers, Semiconductor Devices, Operating Systems (Linux and Windows), Intel and/or AMD CPU/chipset architecture, Print Circuit Board design and assembly process, Signals Analysis and Processing, Digital Systems, Prototyping/testing, Desoldering/Soldering components, or equivalent to the above.
Ability to read and comprehend related technical documents including electrical schematics, product, component, and electrical interface specifications.
Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2026.

Key Responsibilities
Conceptual Design of Electrical Systems:
-Assists senior team members by performing routine tasks such as testing components, documenting results, and organizing materials.
-Gains hands-on experience in how system designs (e.g., power delivery, signal integrity, board design) align with project specifications.
Detailed Design and Implementation:
-Assists with parts selection, qualification, Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) design, and schematic capture for electrical subsystems under the guidance of senior team members.
-Supports design analysis by helping with basic modeling and simulations of standard electrical systems, developing foundational skills with close oversight.
-Learns to assist in creating board floor planning and layout designs, focusing on basic component placement, routing, and power/signal integrity considerations, while following established design practices and integrating feedback from senior team members.
-Assists in resolving issues related to power and signal components, addressing straightforward technical challenges with guidance.
-Supports internal teams such as firmware, software, and diagnostics, learning to assist with integrating electrical subsystems (e.g., power, signal integrity components) into overall server functionality.
Testing, Validation, and Debugging:
-Supports testing, integration, and validation of analog and digital systems and subsystems, by assisting with setup and performing basic testing tasks under supervision.
