Software Engineer

At Alumni Relations Committee TAPMI, we are seeking a Software Engineer. This position develops and maintains application features using established engineering practices and clear technical requirements.

The role emphasizes readable code, attention to edge cases, and constructive participation in code reviews.
What You Will Do
Add or update unit tests for code you modify.
Work with APIs and handle ordinary data validation or error cases.
Check code changes locally before submitting them for testing.
Collaborate on technical requirements and clarify missing acceptance criteria.
Write readable code that follows existing project conventions.
Investigate reported defects and reproduce issues before fixing them.
Document important implementation decisions and technical limitations.
What You Bring
Understanding of functions, data structures, and common debugging techniques.
Comfort reading API documentation and existing code.
Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks in a remote team.
Basic familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Attention to code quality, security, and clear technical communication.
Annual base salary: $82,000–$84,000 USD.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and able to perform the role remotely from an approved U.S. location.
