The Bank Officer will handle daily branch operations, including opening and maintaining accounts, processing transactions, and supporting cash and non-cash banking services. The role involves assisting customers with queries, promoting suitable banking products, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The Bank Officer will work closely with branch teams to meet service standards, support sales and cross-selling initiatives, and contribute to achieving branch targets. The position also includes maintaining records, preparing reports as required, and upholding high levels of customer service and integrity.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients.Candidates should possess skills in basic banking operations, cash handling, account servicing, and transaction management.Candidates should possess attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and compliance awareness to follow regulatory and internal policies.Candidates should possess problem-solving abilities, time management, and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office and comfort with banking software and digital tools.Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant banking or financial services experience is an advantage.Ability to work collaboratively in a branch environment, meet performance targets, and maintain ethical standards.Fluency in English and local languages, along with familiarity with the Guwahati market, will be beneficial.
