Role Description The Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support AbilisPath’s educational and consultancy services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing back-end features, integrating databases and APIs, and resolving technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role involves participating in requirement analysis, contributing to system architecture decisions, and ensuring software quality through code reviews and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamil Nadu, India, requiring close coordination with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts and Software Development practices.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including server-side logic and database integration.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/Node.js) is preferred.
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver maintainable solutions within deadlines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Experience in education, consultancy, or service-oriented domains is an added advantage.
