Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a PHP Developer supporting India’s Future Investors digital platforms. The PHP Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side web applications and APIs, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient back-end functionality for show-related websites and interactive experiences. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, well-documented PHP code, integrating databases, collaborating with front-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences, and troubleshooting performance, security, and integration issues. The role also involves participating in feature planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement of the technical architecture to support audience engagement, contestant workflows, and content delivery. The PHP Developer will work closely with product, design, and content teams to implement new features and ensure stable, high-quality releases.
Qualifications
Strong Back-End Web Development skills, including PHP, database integration, and API design.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices.
Experience with Front-End Development collaboration, including working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
Solid Software Development and Programming skills, including debugging, optimization, and version control (e.g., Git).
Experience with MVC frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter) and RESTful services.
Understanding of web security, performance tuning, and scalable architecture.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with media, entertainment, or fintech platforms is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
