Software Engineer

We are hiring for the Software Engineer position at Swaraaj Consultancy. This work collaborates on practical software changes while keeping development work documented and reviewable.

You will work from defined technical requirements and confirm expected outcomes before changes are released.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Review logs and debugging output to isolate software errors.
Document important implementation decisions and technical limitations.
Improve straightforward performance or reliability issues within scope.
Follow established practices for handling credentials and sensitive data.
Add or update unit tests for code you modify.
Work with APIs and handle ordinary data validation or error cases.
Check code changes locally before submitting them for testing.
Qualifications And Skills
Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks in a remote team.
Basic familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Attention to code quality, security, and clear technical communication.
Working ability in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
Ability to write and interpret simple automated tests.
Annual base salary: $76,500–$78,500 USD.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and able to perform the role remotely from an approved U.S. location.
