TheFactual builds fintech products for financial markets. We're launching with a crypto trading platform for phone traders: sign up in seconds, trade in one tap, one honest fee.
About the Role We're looking for a Solana + Backend Engineer to own the part of the platform that moves money and the backend behind it. You'll work closely with our frontend engineer and the founders, and you'll use AI tools to move fast while owning quality and correctness.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain the trade path: swap routing through Jupiter, sponsored-gas transactions, landing and confirming transactions, and the fee ledger
Build the backend API, live price pipeline and creator commission module (Go or TypeScript, Postgres, Redis)
Set up and run infrastructure on AWS, with CI/CD, monitoring and alerts
Write tests, runbooks and documentation as you build
Debug and resolve production issues quickly
Follow security best practices for anything that touches funds
Qualifications
3+ years of backend engineering experience
Has shipped at least one product to Solana mainnet that handled real user funds
Strong in Go, TypeScript or Rust, with Postgres and Redis in production
Hands-on experience with transactions, RPC providers and handling failures (retries, blockhash expiry, priority fees)
Experience using AI coding tools and reviewing what they write
Clear written English
Preferred
Experience with Jupiter, Helius or Jito
AWS and Terraform
Experience with fintech, trading or exchange systems
Compensation and Benefits
₹60,000 to ₹80,000 per month, fixed salary
