Job Description
Mandatory Skills: React Native, Android Studio, Firebase, Jetpack Compose
Mobile(React Native) Senior Developer
Experience: 5 to 8 years (minimum 3 years in React Native)
About the Role: We are looking for a Senior React Native Developer to design, build, and ship high-quality cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android. You will own features end to end, mentor junior engineers, and help shape our mobile architecture and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain performant, scalable mobile apps using React Native and TypeScript
Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces
Architect reusable components, modules, and state management solutions
Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, and third-party SDKs
Write native bridge modules (Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java) when required
Optimize app performance (startup time, memory, rendering, bundle size)
Own release cycles: builds, code signing, App Store and Play Store submissions
Write unit, integration, and E2E tests; maintain CI/CD pipelines
Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and uphold coding standards
Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams in an Agile setup
Required Skills
5 to 8 years of mobile development experience, with 3+ years in React Native
Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
Deep knowledge of React fundamentals: hooks, context, lifecycle, and rendering behavior
State management: Redux Toolkit, Zustand, MobX, or React Query
Navigation: React Navigation or Expo Router
Experience with the New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules, JSI) and the Hermes engine
Solid understanding of native iOS/Android fundamentals and platform guidelines
Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and secure storage
Push notifications (FCM/APNs), deep linking, in-app purchases, and offline-first/local storage (SQLite, MMKV, Realm, WatermelonDB)
Testing: Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox or Maestro
Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane, or App Center), and Agile/Scrum
Published apps on the App Store and Google Play
Good to Have
Expo (managed and bare workflows) and EAS Build/Update
Native development experience in Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose
Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) and monitoring tools such as Sentry
Experience with animations (Reanimated, Skia) and gesture handling
Accessibility, localization, and app security best practices (SSL pinning, obfuscation)
Experience with micro-frontends or monorepos (Nx, Turborepo)
Exposure to mobile analytics, A/B testing, and feature flagging
Prior experience leading or mentoring a small team
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
