Fractional CMO / Head of Marketing

ABOUT THE ROLE
Lead marketing strategy and execution for a European two-sided marketplace connecting companies with fractional C-suite leaders. This fractional or potential co-founder opportunity will shape the market position, growth engine, and community for an emerging professional services model.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop go-to-market strategy and positioning for companies seeking fractional talent and leaders exploring fractional work.
- Build thought leadership and market credibility for fractional C-suite work.
- Acquire and onboard companies through targeted outreach and conversion strategies.
- Recruit and onboard senior leaders interested in fractional engagements.
- Grow both sides of the marketplace through community building, referrals, and trust-based marketing.
- Plan and oversee marketing channels, content strategy, and community activities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 5 years of marketing leadership experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for B2B platforms, marketplaces, or emerging categories.
- Proven experience driving demand generation and user acquisition in two-sided or network-effect businesses.
- Strength in positioning, brand strategy, and thought leadership for emerging markets.
- Experience building communities as a growth channel and using word-of-mouth and trust-based marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple channels and content initiatives in an early-stage, fast-changing environment.
- Background in the European market and professional services landscape; marketplace supply recruitment experience is valuable.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: $70,000 to $500,000 USD annually. A co-founder option is noted. Visa sponsorship is not available.
