About The Job
Responsible for various accounting and reporting duties for our 2 legal entities in Australia and New Zealand.
Job Description
Payroll – ADP, Payforce
IFRS 16 - Lease Accounting
Financial reporting and Accounting – iScala ERP
Balance sheet reconciliations and other reconciliations as requested.
General Accounting
Maintaining accurate accounting within area of responsibility following adopted accounting principles and statutory reporting schedules.
Accounting entries and reconciliations for general ledger accounts within area of responsibility.
Prepare GST, FBT and withholding tax returns and secure compliance with local requirements.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, corporate income tax returns and transfer pricing documentation.
Liaise with external parties e.g. auditors, tax agents, government authorities.
Manage banking and treasury functions, intra-group reconciliations of cash pool, payables and receivables.
Manage bank guarantees and forex hedging.
Manage payroll and payroll related matters.
Company credit card administration.
Contribute to Continuous Improvements within area of responsibility.
What you know?
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance and/ or equivalent fields
At least 3 years of experience with accounting processes and statutory reporting
Familiar with accounting procedures and knowledge of Australia and New Zealand Accounting Standards and Tax laws
Experience in working with ERP and other finance tools.
Proficient in MS Office suite especially MS Excel
Committed team player with an open and positive learning attitude.
Committed to meeting deadlines, able to multitask and prioritize independently.
