Team Overview
The Technical Platform Manager (TPM) is responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, adoption, governance, and delivery of enterprise platform services that enable secure, scalable, and efficient software development and infrastructure operations across the organization.
This role partners with platform service owners, engineering leaders, architecture, security, compliance, cloud engineering, and application development teams to define platform capabilities, establish operational excellence standards, drive platform adoption, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The TPM serves as a strategic leader who balances platform scalability, reliability, security, developer experience, and cost optimization while ensuring enterprise platform services continue to meet evolving business and technology needs.
Platform domains may include Data Ingestion, Data Quality, ETL, Web Applications, Observability, Infrastructure Automation, PKI and Certificate Lifecycle Management , Developer Tooling, and Internal Developer Platforms.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Data Platform Strategy & Roadmap Management
Define and manage the product roadmap for enterprise data acquisition, ingestion, correction, storage, and distribution platforms, including:Data Acquisition & Onboarding ServicesData Ingestion Pipelines (Batch and Real-Time)Data Quality & Validation ServicesData Correction Platforms (Consumer, Commercial, Fraud, MFI)Enterprise Data Store (EDS)Data Publishing & Distribution ServicesCDC, Streaming, and Event-Driven ArchitectureRedis and Low-Latency Data Access PlatformsData APIs and Data-as-a-Service CapabilitiesEstablish product vision and strategy for enterprise data platforms aligned with business growth, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.Drive prioritisation of platform investments that improve data quality, scalability, timeliness, availability, and operational efficiency.Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Product, Analytics, and Operations teams to define roadmap alignment, capability evolution, and technical strategy.Balance regulatory obligations, technical debt reduction, platform modernization, and business-driven feature delivery.
Data Product Adoption & Customer Success
Drive adoption of enterprise data platform capabilities across internal and external consumers.Develop deep understanding of data providers, operational users, analytics teams, product teams, and application consumers.Establish feedback loops with stakeholders to continuously improve data acquisition, correction, fulfilment, and data access experiences.Measure and report product adoption, service utilisation, customer satisfaction, data quality improvements, and business value realization.Champion self-service capabilities that enable data onboarding, monitoring, corrections, and operational management with minimal engineering intervention.
Data Governance & Operational Excellence
Define and maintain operational frameworks governing data ingestion, validation, correction, retention, distribution, and lifecycle management.Establish KPIs and success metrics across:Data AvailabilityPipeline ThroughputData FreshnessData AccuracyData CompletenessData Quality ScoresOperational SLA ComplianceCustomer AdoptionPlatform ReliabilityPartner with Security, Risk, Compliance, and Data Governance teams to ensure alignment with enterprise policies and regulatory obligations.Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational resilience, platform scalability, automation, and reduction of manual intervention.Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for data quality, performance, and availability incidents.
Product Delivery & Program Leadership
Lead cross-functional delivery initiatives spanning multiple data and technology organizations.Own product planning activities including:RoadmapsBusiness casesPrioritizationScope managementRelease planningDependency managementFacilitate Agile execution, Program Increment planning, roadmap reviews, stakeholder governance forums, and executive reporting.Ensure successful delivery of data platform capabilities while balancing customer experience, operational excellence, security, and compliance requirements.Manage complex dependencies across ingestion, correction, storage, analytics, API, and fulfillment ecosystems.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Coordinate initiatives involving:Enterprise ArchitectureData ArchitectureInformation SecurityRegulatory & Compliance TeamsData GovernanceAnalytics & Data ScienceCloud & Infrastructure EngineeringApplication Development TeamsBusiness Product OwnersOperations & Support OrganizationsBuild alignment across diverse stakeholder groups with competing priorities.Influence enterprise-wide decisions regarding data architecture, governance frameworks, platform standards, and operating models.Act as the primary product leader for enterprise data platform capabilities and strategic modernization initiatives.8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, Platform Product Manager, or equivalent leadership role.5+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms, data products, ingestion services, or data management solutions.Experience defining and executing data platform strategy, roadmap development, adoption plans, and product lifecycle management.Strong understanding of enterprise data ecosystems including:Data AcquisitionData IngestionData Quality ManagementData Correction WorkflowsMaster Data ManagementData DistributionData GovernanceExperience working with both real-time and batch processing architectures.Strong knowledge of enterprise data architecture patterns including:Event-driven architectureStreaming platformsData pipelinesAPI-driven integrationsData productsExperience managing products supporting multiple internal and external customers.Experience establishing and reporting product KPIs and operational metrics.Proven ability to influence executive leadership, engineering organizations, and business stakeholders.Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, highly regulated, enterprise data initiatives.Strong ownership mindset with experience managing risks, dependencies, and commitments across multiple delivery teams.Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise credit, risk, fraud, identity, or financial data ecosystems.Knowledge of consumer, commercial, fraud, or alternative data acquisition and fulfilment processes.Experience with data correction and dispute management platforms.Experience with Data Mesh, Data Product, or Data-as-a-Service operating models.Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks governing data management and consumer information.Experience leading enterprise data modernization, cloud migration, or platform transformation initiatives.Experience presenting platform strategy, data quality trends, adoption metrics, and business outcomes to senior executive leadership.Strong understanding of data operations, service reliability, and operational excellence practices.
