Program Analyst I - Budget & Financial Management

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a Program Analyst I to support our Federal Government client in Arlington, VA. The Program Analyst I will conduct program and financial analyses, evaluate budget requests and funding allocations, identify operational and fiscal issues, and provide recommendations to support effective resource management and program operations.
Responsibilities
Collect, compile, and analyze data needed to formulate budget requests and district allocations of the annual transportation funding that supports air and ground prisoner transportation.
Provide technical advice for financial system transactions for the transportation and guard services sections.
Submit payment requests for air operations flight hours for prisoner transportation through the Justice Prisoner Air Transportation System (JPATS).
Update the Office of Transportation Services (OTS) financial Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) annually.
Track and maintain records of air charter missions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in budget analysis, financial management, and monitoring expenditures to support budget planning and resource allocation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial management or travel systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate financial records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience supporting a government agency preferred.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.
Must be able to work onsite in Arlington, VA.
