About the Role
Are you interested in sustainability, environmental performance, and how companies are working toward their ESG goals?
AltaGas is looking for a Sustainability Intern to join our team for a four-month internship. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting sustainability reporting, data collection, and projects that contribute to AltaGas’ environmental and corporate responsibility initiatives.
This is a great opportunity to build your understanding of corporate sustainability while working alongside professionals and contributing to meaningful projects across the organization.
What You’ll Do
As a Sustainability Intern, you will:
Support sustainability reporting and data collection related to ESG goals and initiatives.
Assist with organizing, reviewing, and analyzing sustainability and environmental data.
Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to support sustainability initiatives.
Assist with research, reporting, presentations, and other sustainability-related materials.
Support ad hoc projects and priorities across the Sustainability team.

What You’ll Bring
Currently enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree program in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
An interest in sustainability, ESG, environmental performance, and the energy industry.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly when working with data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
