Job Summary
Software engineer contributing to design, development, and testing of storage domain features. Involved across the full product lifecycle—requirement definition, implementation, debugging, testing, and early customer support. Works on new feature development, sustenance, and engineering escalations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. Operates independently with minimal supervision and provides technical leadership when required.
Job Requirements
5 years to 8 years experience in the architecture, design and development of system software.Good hands on experience in C, C++, python languages and debugging with GDBIn depth knowledge of Unix/Linux System Programming, Multithreaded programmingStorage Domain experienceVirtualization experience is a plusShould have strong conceptual understanding of OS internalsStrong algorithms, data structures and multi-threaded programming expertise are required.Expected to have Sound software engineering practices and a passion for qualityMust have a proven record of meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing qualityStrong communication skills are essential, both written and oral, targeted at a wide variety of internal and external audiences Must have good idea about customer deployment scenarios and experience in dealing with peer teams outside engineeringExpected and assumed: independence, drive, motivation, willingness to go above and beyond, flexibility, and cooperative spirit.
Education
Typically requires a minimum of 4-8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years and a Master's degree or A PhD without experience or Equivalent work experince.
