The team at Hilton San Diego Bayfront is seeking its next Banquet Houseperson to join our team!
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of banquet experience.
Flexibility to work days, evenings and graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining clean, organized, and presentable banquet and event spaces.
Ability to set up, arrange, and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, tables, chairs, and other event equipment according to event specifications.
Ability to transport furniture, equipment, linens, and supplies while ensuring proper storage and organization.
Commitment to following hotel cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift heavy items throughout the shift while performing physically demanding tasks.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Delight our guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special
Prepare banquet space with care: Complete table and chair set up according to the requirements for each function
Ensure a clean and inviting space: Clean and prep banquet rooms, ensuring all walls and surfaces are spotless
Monitor the room: Keep the banquet area clean, and promptly address spills, discarded service items, and other issues to ensure an exceptional guest experience
