Job Title: Lead Security Systems Solutions Engineer
Location: Remote (West Coast candidates preferred)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Security Systems Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and integrate enterprise physical security technologies. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise in access control, video surveillance, security systems architecture, and technology integrations, along with the ability to lead technical projects and guide engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement physical security systems, architectures, and integrations.
Evaluate security technologies and recommend solutions based on business requirements.
Manage engineering project priorities, risks, escalations, and delivery.
Provide technical guidance to engineers and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support system enhancements and deployments.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant experience; strong candidates with 6–7 years may be considered.
Mandatory Genetec certification at the required level.
Strong experience with enterprise access control, CCTV/video management, and physical security systems.
Hands-on expertise in system integration, configuration, and technical design.
Demonstrated technical leadership and project delivery experience.
Flexibility to participate in an occasional weekend on-call rotation.
Require Skills:
8+ years programming and administering enterprise, multi-site physical security systems.
3+ years in an architecture or technical leadership role.
Hands-on experience deploying, integrating, and supporting enterprise access control, video management (VMS), and visitor management platforms.
Proven project/program management experience, including intake, scoping, resource allocation, and delivering multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
Experience building PoCs, making technology selection decisions, and mentoring engineers.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multiple physical security platforms, enterprise environments, or security technology integrators.
AI technology experience or exposure to entertainment/studio environments.
Note: This is a 12-month contract.
