# Job Overview
You will collaborate with engineering, product, business, and executive stakeholders to define and execute the program Plan of Record, manage schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables and risks. You will drive resolution of issues and set execution priorities accordingly. You will represent the program internally and will drive alignment across stakeholders.
# Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience on x86 or ARM or RISC-V platforms/ecosystem.
* Understanding of software stacks and Linux-based distributions.
# Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 7+ years of Program Management or related work experience on x86 or ARM or RISC-V platforms/ecosystem.
* Strong technical understanding of AI/ML technology and deliverables.
# Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* Partner with program sponsors and cross-functional stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, priorities, deliverables, and milestone commitments.
* Develop and manage the program Plan of Record, including integrated schedules, resource and budget forecasts, dependencies, and critical-path activities, to deliver on time, on budget, and within scope.
* Drive software development execution across teams, establish accountable owners, and resolve dependencies that affect program milestones.
* Identify, assess and track technical and execution risks, coordinate mitigation and recovery plans, and escalate issues promptly with clear recommendations.
* Track key program metrics and milestone readiness, identify significant deviations from the Plan of Record, and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.
* Lead program reviews and communicate status, risks, trade-offs, and decisions needed from engineering, business leads, and executives.
* Coordinate proposed scope, schedule, and resource changes; assess their impact and obtain stakeholder alignment before updating program commitments.
* Promote the program vision and objectives, reinforce accountability, and improve execution through consistent program management best practices.

* Navigate ambiguity, determine effective approaches when steps are not defined, and assess downstream impacts to minimize rework.
* Develop innovative processes, procedures, and work products within established guidelines to achieve program objectives.
* Apply advanced data analysis and analytical reasoning to evaluate alternatives and solve problems when information is incomplete or conflicting.

• 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$159,400.00 - $239,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
