Production Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a Production Supervisor responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations and ensuring the achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives. This role oversees production personnel, drives operational excellence, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in meeting production goals, improving productivity, reducing waste, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily production operations to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets are achieved.
Lead, develop, and motivate production employees while fostering a safe, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment.
Ensure daily production schedules are met and customer deliveries are completed on time.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Reduce scrap rates and improve manufacturing line productivity.
Coordinate activities to resolve material and logistics issues that could impact production.
Support production scheduling and workflow sequencing to optimize operational performance.
Ensure all quality-related documentation and processes comply with established standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and support customer requirements.
Participate in process innovation and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in production supervision within a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing direct labor and leading production teams.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience monitoring and improving production KPIs.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and operational control.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple operational requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Results-oriented with a strong focus on productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
