Accounts Executive – Banking Operations & Accounting

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support daily accounting operations, primarily bank entry processing, bank reconciliations, and related accounting activities. The role requires accurate and timely transaction recording, proper documentation, and support for monthly book closure.
Key Responsibilities
· Process daily bank transactions, including receipts, payments, bank charges, and interest, in the accounting system.
· Review bank statements, ensure correct ledger mapping, and follow up on unidentified transactions.
· Perform bank reconciliations, investigate differences, and track outstanding items to closure.
· Assist with routine journal entries, accounting schedules, and general ledger scrutiny.
· Ensure bank-related transactions are recorded within monthly book closure timelines.
· Prepare periodic reports, maintain supporting documents, and coordinate with internal teams.
· Follow accounting SOPs, approval processes, confidentiality requirements, and internal controls.
· Support internal and statutory audits by providing relevant records and explanations.
Required Skills
· Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
· Working knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
· Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication, coordination, time-management, and teamwork skills.
· Willingness to learn and work in a deadline-driven environment.

· Completion of bank reconciliations within defined timelines.
